One is a CE768-GC the other is a CE768-WB. Does any one know that the final letters actually stand for? Cheers Ian

I am trying to sell them on behalf of an old friend who has had some serious GAS (guitar acquisition syndrome) and now his long suffering wife is demanding relief. He suggested to sell them at around 2K each (so about 3000 dollars) - do you think that is reasonable? I think he paid about 1500 quid for them about 10 years ago. Once again many thanks for responding. Kind regards Ian

I have a good look on ebay and various places on line but while there are quite a few standard CE768s there are none of these with the one peice tops and extra inlays etc etc. I did find a couple of postings (one on this site) saying that the CE6768-WB might be one of only 10 made but there was nothing to indicate value. They are on ebay now and i guess if they don't sell ill lower the price... Thanks again Ian

You only think I guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never buy an Ovation with the thoughts that it might actually have some collectable value"! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha...
