Hey!

Newbie forum, ovation veteran here...have a question regarding Adamas 1681WT production. I currently own an 82 balladeer 1111, which I've had for about 20 years. I've been looking at upgrading to an Adamas 1681 WT, Autumn Burst, which I found used. My question is when did the 1681 transition to the 1681 WT and what does the WT stand for? Looking on most of the serial number progressions, I see nothing about WT in their listings. Has the AB been a standard model color for any particular year or is it a custom color?

Thanks for the help!

BTW, the 1111 is headed to the mothership for a complete overhaul. I was a dumbass and took her to Hawaii about 12 years ago. Humidity is NOT a friend when you live in the desert.

Live and learn.

Tim

WT stands for Wood Top. They use spruce instead of carbon fiber.
