I have a 1111 that my wife gave 20 years ago. After years of joyful playing, abuse, and living in the desert, the top now has two gnarly cracks reminiscent of Grand Canyon. I've now come to realization that it's NOT my beater. I love it and the remorse for all of my past discretions in the proper care of a guitar are flooding over me. I was wondering if anyone out there has had a complete factory makeover done and what the cost might be. She deserves it. Even after all the abuse, she still sounds phantastic!
Thanks,
Tim |

Several members have had this done and the results have been astounding. While I haven't heard people quote a $ number, they have all been pleased with that number. Apparently the factory does a spectacular job on these.
Buy a humidifier - if not for now, then for when it comes back. |
