Gorgeous and expensive!

I don't think they custom make different sizes or I would definitely order one for my slothead 12 baritone. Haven't found a case for it yet that is not soft sided.

As Simon Crowell would say on American Idol, "An Utter and Complete Waste Of Money". I own two of them. They DO look very nice. But it's just cosmetic. Underneith it's the same cheap as always.

Aren't they a little lighter?

I think the general consensus was that they actually weighed more than the standard case....(course I could be wrong).

I've got a lousy picture in my gallery. They are really shiney, so the flash reflects off them.
It was definitely over the top, especially since I leave the guitar out all the time, but the extravagance matched the guitar.

Here you go... $1400, 4 - 6 weeks to make one...

Then again, I could get a nice guitar for that much... Or Two!
BTW This ain't the Ovation issue, if there is such a thing...

THANKS OMA!!!!

Since they are local, I just sent them an email to ask if I could drive up and have them measure my baritone 12 slothead and give me an estimate on a custom case.

Those Accord cases are out of sight but the Carltons are excellent and a little more than 1/2 the cost of the Accords.

Last Sunday, a really nice carbon case for a small guitar (they said classical) for $129. Asked if they had any other sizes...nope. They weren't even sure why they had this one, maybe a demo...obviously priced to sell. No Ovation or Tak would have fit it. Maybe a tenor uke.

The carbon cases are stunning to look at. I keep it in view behind the drum set just to gaze at it from time to time. As others have commented, it is way over the top, but so are some of us. I've never actually put a guitar in it, but it will remain part of my OFC guitar package as long as I'm alive.

Professor sums it up beautifully ... "The best looking case that's never had a guitar in it."

I bought an extra one of these ca$es just because I thought it would look cool with the gloss namm 2080 and I must admit the combo is pretty stunning. I need to take some photos. It's like the guitar and the case are one in the same. Very nice, but totally over the top.

PS - For those of you in Ohio and Michigan ... yes that's blue sky, that's my swimming pool, and those are my palm trees.

Only in the 60s here. 95 on the golf course yesterday (my score). Not bad for the first full round of the year. We had such a bad winter I didn't play in December or January.
