Location: Urbana, IL | Thanks again for the pic. It helped me decide that I want my next Adamas to have a 1 3/4" wide nut. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Not sure how it is today, but "back in the day" ... I'm pretty sure that they only made 2 bridges. One for the 1-11/16 and a wider one for the 1-7/8 guitars. Then the 1-3/4 guitars came along and they got the SAME bridge as the 1-11/16. I was surprised to find that my 1-11/16 nut guitars and my 1-3/4 nut guitars actually had the SAME string spacing at the bridge.
Not sure how it is today. And of course if you are ordering a custom you could request anything you darn well please. Good luck. |

Location: Urbana, IL | Interesting. Thanks for bringing that up. I need to check the the string spacing on my W597. I took the octave strings off my 12 string last night to see how the wider string spacing would feel. I know it's now the same, because the W598 has a 1 7/8" nut but it does feel wider than the W597. I know that I was able to pull off some chord fingerings that are tough on the W597. I also know that I don't need a 1 7/8" nut width to do it so that leads me to the 1 3/4". |
