Well let's see if I can post this one in the right section. I see by reading some post this is not the most sought after model. My question is why do some of these models have the epaulets on the top only? And also what is a good price for a like new used one? Please don't send me to the for sale room, every time I click on it, my computer freezes and I hear my wife laughing through the speakers. Damn....

Thanks,

The guitar Topdog is specifically talking about is at a local music store new for $1200.00. I tried to talk him into it to keep him away from buying a 30th Commemorative 1719 custom legend as I had just purchased one the week earlier, but, alas, I was not convincing enough. We are now thought of as a "guitar couple" :o I am forced to play other guitars when we Jam. I think it's time to bring the Taylor back! :p
Oops, sorry, didn't mean to swear (LOL!!!!)

Tupperware will have a theory on the one epaulet models. It might even have a fact or two in it.

some guy wrote a review of the mewp, which he got at a prretty good price. I suppose it was before they changed to the one side sound holes. He's a pretty good guy, and his opinions are sincere.

The reason for putting the sound hole only the north side is to make the bass appear fuller. It's a slightly more ballsy sound. Though I like the two siders, except for the 2080. That thing is great.

also the same effect can be achieved by using the bung stoppers on the south side.
