Here is the recently disbanded band Sockeye performing an original song at the Gold River pub Pipers Ridge.

There is 'O' content.  My Custom Balladeer, main guitar since '74

Nice Job Phil.......kinda a Jimmy Buffett vibe. Why did Sockeye disband?

Maybe because they retired. They look like they're 75 years old.

Oldest was 65, he's building a restaurant/food service in Arizona this winter.
Youngest was 52-3? Joined the local youth orchestra! :-)

Remember, you're only as old as the women you feel.

Yeah, I was just giving ya a hard time. I WILL say that it seems hard keeping an "older" band together. They tend to be unfocused on ONE thing. They want to work AND golf AND go to movies AND eat out with friends, etc....

How is that related to age? Seems like a lot of youngsters (meaning under 40) can't focus on even one thing. I'm focusing on retirement, but work keeps distracting me.

I think young bands try harder 'cos they actually think they can "make it." The old dudes just do it for fun, and that makes 'em less focused. This is just a dB theory, and has no scientific basis.

i don't know. When I was young, I had no problem focusing on one thing.

I stand corrected. It's been a long time since I focused on that one thing and even longer since it was my main focus.
