Has anyone shipped any guitars to Australia recently?
If so how and how much?

I have a Custom Adamas 2080 and a black Ovation UltraGP in SoCal that Paul Moody has been kindly looking after for quite a while but can no longer do so.

It was my intention to bring them back on my next trip to the US but unfortunately I haven't been able to get there and won't in the immediate future.

I don't really want to part with them but if I can't get a sensible shipping price I will list them for sale here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AJ

Things haven't changed... I have done a LOT of research on this in the past... I just double-checked as services have changed names, but Global Express Guaranteed is still about $375.00 per guitar or if you could find the right box to get both of them into you could do about $435.00. UPS is almost double. I have found bargains with FedEX or other carriers, but they have been one-off deals. Bolt-on neck guitars are easier because you can pull the neck and put them in a smaller box, but both guitars you are referring to, that is not really an option. Good Luck
