Anyone wanting to see 29 of the most beautiful Ovations ever made (and all unplayed) can go to the Sam Ash store on W. 48th St. in New York City where they can be viewed hanging high on a wall just inside the front door. I have a pic of them but have not yet figured out how to upload it to this site. Apparently they were a gift from the company to Sam Ash so there they hang forever suspended in time. It seems a shame that these guitars will never make beautiful music but they sure are nice to look at hanging there. Eventually I will post a pic here when I figure out how. In the meantime if you are in the neighborhood stop by. You won't regret it. Take paper towels for you will find yourself unable to stop salivating!

But there is also at least one Adamas there -- a 1687. They are so beautiful hanging there. I wanted so badly to hold and play them!

Great job getting that up there Old Man. Guess I'm not the only one who has salivated in that particular spot!

That is a picture of Sam. By the way, I was wrong - every year he got serial number FOUR.

I wouldn't mind having the stained glass window, if indeed that it what it is.

Ahh yes... You know you have too many guitars when you have more guitars than Sam Ash. He really loves his Ovation's too. I do not believe that is his entire collection of Ovations. I think he has some that he plays at home just based on the numbers we talked about.
