| Was just informed by a friend of mine in Europe that Michael Dunford, guitarist of the UK prog group Renaissance has died from a cerebral hemorrhage at his home in Surrey. A phenomenal song writer and an extremely talented guitarist, Michael will be sorely missed.
As a long time user of Adamas and Ovation guitars, Michael did much to popularize their use in progressive rock and his distinctive guitar sound was the backbone of many of Renaissance's best songs. A very sad loss...
