Ha ha.

Yeah I know it looks like crap. I did it in Paint in about 38 seconds.

You get the point though...

I've been designing logos for over 40 years (doesn't mean I know everything about it) but don't get what I'm seeing here. What were you out to portray with this if I may ask? Am I looking at a guitar pick above each "p"? Is this a band name? I'm just curious. Heck, I might even learn something new from your answers.

This is the old Applause logo from the 70s. Applauses are sometimes nicknamed Applesauce.

Dave, Applesauce was the nickname given to Applause guitars way back at the beginning. We still call them that.

Hey Allison I'm up to 29. Should they "up" my meds?

Either that or take you off them completely!

Glad the explanation is so banal... I thought for a second my graphic perception was starting to fade!

Sorry you find it banal. I guess I'm simple enough to see humor in it.

I must be simple, I had to Google banal.

Dave,
Here's the Applause logo.  Maybe you'll see the humor in it now.

Yes, it's very obvious and I can fully appreciate the effort. I'd sure like to know whose nephew in the company designed that logo.
