Location: Omaha, NE | I just posted over on the Big Thread that I've had a schedule conflict come up and am not going to be able to make the Matt Smith Clinic. Please don't rub it in. I'm not happy about this at all...
Alas.
This brings up a practical question. As you know, I've been coordinating the Esteban World Tour . We bought an Esteban 'guitar', and have been sending it around the country to players and posting videos.
I had planned on having the 'ban arrive at the clinic so we could record some videos there. But now that I'm not going to be there,I need to know if anyone has any interest in this. What I need is someone to take responsibility (such as it is) for the 'ban. In practical terms, that means agreeing to send it on to the next name on the list after the clinic is over. I would love to see some videos from the guys at the clinic. In fact, I'm begging: PLEASE record and post some for me. It will make me feel like I didn't miss this event entirely.
The only rule is no trebuchet launchings.
So, if someone would like to help out, let me know. I'd love to see what you guys come up with! |

Location: Omaha, NE | I'm pretty sure it floats. After all, its made with the finest, book-matched particleboard tonewood available. I'm not sure the finish is waterproof, though.
Here\'s a taste of what it can do. That's my friend Rob Bourassa on the 'ban/banjo. He's got freaky skills. |
