The wife and I have made some decisions over the last year that will hopefully result in what some people call "quality of life improvements" for my family. As is always the case, such changes are a tad pricey. But I would gladly move more than my nicest guitar for my wife and kids, so here it is.

Luckily someone on another forum asked. The nut width is 1 13/16". I've never been good at identifying profiles, but I would call this either a VERY soft V or more of a D. I find it quite comfortable to fret all the way up the neck. Speaking of which, the frets are also in excellent shape. Edited by Patch 2012-10-24 10:15 AM

I can feel the 1/16" difference, but the profile is also slightly different and makes the guitar feel quite similar somehow so it's easy to move between it and my Pacemaker (which is 1 7/8"). I have to say I find playing this slope-dread much more comfortable than I found playing my old Martin D-42, even though the Martin had a narrower neck.
