I ran out of space about 6 guitars ago, so I need to find a good home for a few of them. The first is Balladeer #093. There are no cracks in the top, which is nice and flat with an extremely thin lacquer finish. There are a couple of dings and pick marks that are easily seen in the photos. The rosette is in great shape and the label is intact. The action is high (6th string is .140” at the 12th fret, 1st string is .105” at the 12th fret), but very playable and sounds fantastic. It's possible it could be brought down a bit by lowering the bridge (there are no shims) or adjusting the truss rod, but I considered this more of a collector piece than a player so I never messed with it. The guitar was refretted up to the 14th fret prior to my acquiring it. I'll take $640.00 firm plus shipping, which is what I've got in it. I bought this from an OFC member and am not looking to make a profit off of it if it stays in the group. I consider this guitar to be in great condition, but it is not mint. I accept PayPal and will absorb the fees if I'm shipping to the CONUS. I'll ship anywhere else in the universe at your expense but I would ask that you pick up the PayPal fees for the extra trouble and sorry, but I will need to declare the full value. Feel free to ask questions.

I felt a little uncomfortable buying it under the circumstances, but you had it out on eBay and I knew someone would. You'll notice I replaced the 1st string tuner with a vintage one. I would certainly give you first pass on it.

I just sent #1911 to the mothership and they sent back a guitar that looks like it just came off the assembly line. You could shave (what, of course, is optional) from the reflection off the soundboard OR the shiny bowl. I cannot say enough good about the craftsmen who made the K1111's by hand, nor the current craftsmen who took the time to restore a 45 year old guitar to its original new condition. Simply incredible.
