Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | Different Moon; this "moon festival" is the annual harvest festival. How it works, is you eat a lot of food, then you watch people sing, dance, marital arts, recite poetry etc. Then you go home and look at the moon with a glass of wine and ponder. It's sort of like thanksgiving and christmas, but with less hoopla.
I think the young lady got it, cause she was smiling when I was done. Though, maybe she was glad I was gone! Anyway, it was alright. |
