30 years on and he still can get it...but things have changed...for all of us from back in the day...

The first video shows him playing the Adamas I and is from 1980...

I was surprised to see the violinist singing harmony and doing a good job of it. Playing the violin would limit your vocals.

Yeah, this James Dupree has a really good voice. He's in Nashville trying to make it but having a tough time of it. Lot's of competition. Check out his channel, like this cover...

He got signed by Warner Bros. after he sang on Ellen's show, but haven't seen an album from him on Warner's label.
