Beautiful OVATION Sunburst Birdseye Mandolin!  This is an great example of the rarity of the MCS148 Celebrity DeLuxe model in a sunburst birdseye maple top rather than the cherry-cherryburst, the ruby red burst, the black or the natural ones that are so common.

This mando is in excellent (like new) condition, and I've upgraded the tuners with high-end machines from the factory in New Hartford, CT. Comes with gold-plated strap-knobs, a black leather retro strap, and a great little custom gig-bag. Also comes with fresh Elixir strings and an extra set!

Which Elixers are you using and how do they sound compared to the standard 8080 Mediums? Aren't the Elixers loop-end?
