Can Ovation build 12-strings or what?!

This guitar is a seriously good instrument in every respect. The action is fantastic, the neck is great, the sound is AWESOME and LOUD. I've been playing Ovation 12-strings for a long time, and this one has "IT" big time!

The serial number dates it to 1990, but it does not show anywhere near two decades worth of wear. The finish is a little dulled in the pick-scratch area, there is a small-but-obvious ding on the headstock, there is a bit of rippling just under the bridge, and some very slight wear such as light scratching here and there. Otherwise, the finish is glossy and crack free. The bridge is tight and secure. The heel is snug. The neck is straight. And there is almost zero fret wear. The pictures do a good job of showing the nice condition of the guitar. It looks even better in person.

The Ovation web site relates the specs as follows: solid sitka spruce top, bound ebony freatboard with pearl inlays, deluxe 24K gold-plated tuners, walnut bridge, a scale of 25 1/4", OP-24 preamp, and a comfy, meaty 1 7/8" nutwidth.

This guitar has decades of use left in it. It comes with a hardshell case. Be sure to see all of the pictures HERE.

I'm looking to get $675 shipped in the continental U. S. If you are overseas, contact me for a shipping quote.

Thanks for looking everyone.

This is a first.

Not a single comment, but the guitar is sold already. (Pending payment anyway.)

It's staying in the OFC but going a LONG way!

Was it Banjo again?

or someone else 'down here'?

It wasn't me. But I must admit I was tempted. I'm thinking I may wait for an Adamas 6 string. Unless someone has a good suggestion, maybe an Al DiMeola?

I don't think anyone is further away than Australia Banjo. That be a long, long drift south, that is.

The guitar is still in the family, but I always let the buyer identify themselves (if they so choose).
