Joined: September 2011 Posts: 45 Location: Columbus OH and Cape Coral FL | I have a 2006 Les Paul Studio Gloss Burst in immaculate condition with Gibson Bag. $825.00, but would rather trade. See pics below: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/msg/3061272776.html I am willing to trade for a U.S. made Ovation cutaway shallow depth or mid-depth bowl in excellent condition, preferably with HSC but an Ovation bag might be o.k. too. Since I already have black, any other color will be considered. Would prefer an epaulet model, but will consider all. I have a long history of honest sales on Ebay. Please feel free to email me at mjfesler@att.net or call at 678-926-3040. Thanks for looking! Edited by ohiopicker 2012-06-06 3:42 PM

For me I've given 2 of my 4 ovation acoustics away recently so I would be acoustically poor and down to my single Adamas if I traded my Elite. But I was looking! Your studio looks to be in exceptional condition and I have been wanting a les Paul.

The main differences are: 1) Binding on body and neck on Les Paul Standard; not on Studio. 2) Les Paul Standard has a slightly greater body thickness, and thus weighs more. 3) Standard normally comes with Gibson's highest grade pickup, a PAF humbucker, the Studio with a different pickup. The finish quality is actually the same high standard Gibson has for all models above the "Faded" series. Given an equal set-up, playability is the same for both. Many people who are going to use a LP on a regular basis prefer one that weighs less than nine or ten pounds. The finish on the guitar I am selling is outstanding, and I think that comes through in my pics.

My price reflects that, and the condition of the instrument. Note also what some of the Faded series are going for. I appreciate your interest.

This studio model should have sold for $1100-1200 new with a gig bag. Same fit and finish as the current 1300 model, but with a bag instead of case
