I have a chance to buy a Folklore LX. Can anyone out there share their views about this Ovation guitar? The serial number of this folklore is 617803, which I believe means that it was made in the USA in 2007. Any additional information would be appreciated!

The only reason I could think not to would be if it was damaged and/or overpriced.

Only one thread necessary on the same forum.

FWIW, they're a great guitar. Be aware that it has a wider neck than your 'average' guitar.

I myself would jump at a chance at one of those. Which one is it? Contour or mid? Does it have the tortoise binding?

I played one in a music store here in Germany a while back and immediately ordered one. I never got her, because they were sold out. It was a wonderful souding guitar with best playability. I'm still on the hunt for one. It was a 2774LX Folklore with deep contour body.
