Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12759 Location: Boise, Idaho | Assuming you want to stay with steel strings, the Folklore is the standard model with a wider nut. It was previously called the Josh White and you might find a fairly recent Josh White reissue out there. | ||

Joined: May 2010 Posts: 95 Location: Vancouver Island, BC | The early Folklore has a 1-7/8" nut width. I believe they took us into the '80s. Later models are 1-3/4" at the nut. That is about the same as playing two frets up (capo) on a standard 1-11/16" neck. Good luck with the search. | ||

I'm pretty sure the wider nut went through the 90's too. I think it's only the newer LX models that have the 1 3/4. | ||
