Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Back when they made the Artist Bowl, Ovation already had a Deep Bowl and a Shallow Bowl.
So the Artist Bowl was in between.
Nowadays we would not think of the old Shallow Bowl as being that shallow.
It was not like the current Super-Shallow Bowl.
To answer your question, when you buy a case you will want a Deep/Mid Depth case.
That would be a 8158, a 9158, or 8358 Foam Core zipper case (Zero Gravity Case).
There are also Road Runner cases...
But you want a case for a Mid-Depth Bowl.
