Joined: February 2012 Posts: 73 Location: New Jersey | Well, yesterday I went to pick up my '07 Collectors from GC- they put in a new pre-amp, can, wiring and jacks. While he was at it, he addressed the minor fret issue. The guitar is near perfect! My out of pocket was $30 for a set-up. I am thoroughly happy- this worked out so well. I wanted to take some nice pics over the weekend- only thing is I don't have a red blanket! Is a non red blanket against the rules? :P Oooh, maybe I could find a fake bearskin rug- ya know it IS a BCS anyway... | ||

After about 10 minutes she cut out again. Tried a new battery, different amp and different cables- no luck. Still under warranty so it will be repaired at no expense to me. The tech said he replaced everything but the piezo pickup. Wonder if it could be that? Hopefully, this time will be the charm... | ||

Anyway, we'll see if it's the saddle pickup- if it's not that, we'll try the VIP. Like I said above-hopefully the third time is the charm. | ||
