First presented the acoustic electric guitar with a volume control. Ovation acoustic electric subsequently appears with tone and volume knobs controls located in Both Have the Same position on the guitar My question is: If a guitar with the tone and volume control you turn the tone control to the maximum of sharp, sounds like another guitar that only includes volume control. (Compared to the system volume and tone of an electric guitar)

The comparison I made with electric guitars is that in other instruments preamp system (such as bass and some guitars) enhances the treble control is often even more so the microphone can provide. That made me think that a tone knob that has Ovation could have a brighter sound than one that does not. I can assure you that I checked in "Ovation fan club" to know more about "Ovation" not to discuss "other mark"

There isn't a single tone knob, there are 3 sliders which should normally be set in the middle position for a flat response. Some of the solid body electric guitars had a tone control which did make the treble brighter than normal. The electronics had batteries for an active preamp. The normal position would be "5" on the tone knob. Going higher would boost the treble.

I knew those characteristics of op pro because I had a few years ago Ovation celebrity who has this preamp. I seek to know more about guitars as preamp with the Custom Legend of the '80s, with volume and tone controls in place I know this was a more primitive system preamp and I am almost certain that the tone control up to maximum, only leads to a natural sound, but not "exaggerate" normal treble can sound the mic. Jay also said it well (Thanks, Jay!)
