I'm now looking for another Made in the USA model with a contour bowl. I'm going to set up a search on eBay but what models should I search for? Does anyone have a list of all USA models with a contour bowl? Thanks so much! Mark

I did the same as you... had it, sold it... then I bought another one and I still love it. There's been one on sale here on the board for quite awhile now as well. Good luck!

I'll wait to see if it comes down in price. When I was trying to sell mine, there were some on eBay for around $600 - and no one was buying them! That's why I ended up trading mine because I ended up getting more money in trade. Coincidentally, nosajwp in the For Sale section of the forum was also asking $600 for his, but it seems he's disappeared. So anyway, I've got a price in my head of around $600; though I think the guitar is worth more than that in quality and value, the market seems to think differently. > "How do you guys come to grips with selling your beloved guitars?" If I'm not playing a guitar for a long while and there is something else I want, I'll sell the old guitar to fund the new guitar. Obviously if I play a guitar often, I keep it. With the Collector's '05, I wasn't playing it a lot because I kinda went-off the sound of Ovations and wanted to try a Taylor for a while. I've now returned to playing an Ovation, mainly for ergonomic reasons. I've got a very nice USA Made 1869 Custom Legend, but I think a Deep Contour bowl is the best compromise between sound and ergonomics so I'd like to get a guitar with one. I think the '05 sounded better than any other Ovation I've tried (though I'd love to try an Adamas someday).

I think the 2007BCS (the one I have anyway) is one of the very best wood tops I've had the pleasure of playing.
