Perhaps this question has been answered before, but I am fairly new to the club does not know the answer.
I see in the catalogs of Ovation guitars that various types of bracing guitar models that are outwardly similar appearance.
I wonder if this is true for creating differences in the sound of each model

Bracing has a definite impact on tone. I have a preference for A-bracing on the center soundhole tops as I think it helps with the bass response acoustically. The LX bracing seems to bump the sustain a bit and adds real balance across the strings.

I'm sure others will chime in with their opinions as well.

In the early days various bracing patterns were tried, looking for that primo tone.

I like Quintad Bracing for sentimental reasons. It is on my Elite T guitars.

Quintad (or Adamas) Bracing was designed for to go with the Elite epaulets to get rid of the "weak spot" in the center of the soundboard where the center hole is located.

Therefore, an Elite guitar with X bracing seems a bit weird.

That said, I have owned and do own Elite LX guitars and they sound very nice.
