Stuff that works on stage often doesn't work on camera.
Big Eyes just look like your eyes are open when the audience is 40' - 300' away.
Elvis' lipstick would have looked pretty silly on a colour TV too....

I always cringe when I see someone beating on a beautiful guitar like that with a pick. I wonder if anyone ever pointed out to her that she has a WRIST.
