Location: Tennessee | I'd put KFOG (my local San Francisco station) up against any station. Sounds like it's is very akin to WXPN. KFOG is available online too at www.kfog.com.
There's tons of new music out there, and a lot of it is really good. Lucky for me, I have kids that keep me turned on to the newer stuff ... in some pretty diverse and eclectic genres. That said, we are back to the time when "singles" are the name of the game. Albums are for "artists" ... which seem to be fewer and fewer these days. |

They still have KOME down in the South Bay? I'll never forget Dennis Erectus and the KOME for breakfast show. |

Location: Tennessee | KOME is long gone. Don't touch that dial - you've got KOME on your radio! :) It's now KFOX, and the morning show is hosted by Greg Kihn (for about the last 10 years). It's still good, although I'm not really into listening to "classic rock" 24/7. |
