Hello all,

I have owned a celebrity several years ago, loved it, but traded and forgot about O guitars for a time. I was recently re-watching Lost and one of the main characters has an ovation. I was like "!" and recalled the guitars again, and had fond memories, so decided to find a cheap ovation again.

I have found one a week ago, traded an ibanez I had laying around for it. I don't know much about this model, not that there is much to know I guess. Any insight into this model? Where does it fall in relation to other models like the celebrity or other low end ovations? It's called an "ultra series by ovation" and is a 1528 model #. Has abalone inlays, gold tuners, a big ol volume/tone knob. Late 80s I'm guessing.

Just curious about it, any feedback would be great.

Oh, and I would like to "stick around" and be a full member.

Thanks all!

Will

Hi Will, Congratulations on the new Ovation. I don't have any experience with the Ultra Series so I wouldn't be able offer any feedback, but hopefully someone will chime in that does. I also can't give you access to the other forums, but a moderator should be along shortly to do that. No need to thank me for all of the help that I've been. <VBG>

Welcome to the group!
