Location: New Hartford CT		Can you mount an artist/mid depth neck on a deep bowl? A friend was wondering if that will work.

Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent		I asked John Budny this last year when I had to get a new top/bowl for my 01 Collectors. I thought the deeper bowl might be an improvement over the original mid-depth.

He said they could do it, but it would look pretty strange.

I took the third option; a ring mount on a mid-bowl. I got some tonal improvement without moving the heel too far. Glad I did it this way in the end.
