Dark Bar, I don't have a card as a musician, but my business card for the shop is beautiful. I TRIED to scan it but my useless #*@&* printer isn't working. Anyway, an artist friend of mine made me a t-shirt with a great picture of my 1581 and the name of the shop. Another friend took that shirt and had business cards made for me using Maria's artwork. I'll try to get a friend with a working printer to scan one and send it to me so I can post it here.

I've got some. I've got them scanned. If I can figure out how to post a pic here, then we're golden.

EDIT: Wait! I used the add attachment button. It should be viewable if you click on it.

Who here has "musician" business cards. I was thinking of getting some made (they're cheap enough to do), cos they'd be handy when you run into bar owners or wedding planners, etc.
If you do have one, can you scan it and post it here. I'd like to see what others have done.

Bobbo,
I think if you had saved it as a .jpg it would have displayed. Let's see...

EDIT: Yup, that's what it was.

I just had new ones made up. I changed from a hard line to cell phone. 1000 for $30.00 at office Max.

Yeah, that's what I mean. They're so cheap to have made, why not print some up. If you have someone design them for you it can get pricey.
I'm designing one myself on MS Publisher. I can print it myself if I buy the blanks at Staples. That's even cheaper.

My cards were free. A "fan" had them made for me for free at a place called minted. Lots of sites have templates for setting up your artwork in hundreds of ways. Forget printing your own ... the perforations all around the outside of your cards are noticable and makes it look like you cut corners. Not a good thing when you're looking for work (or any kind). Spend the $10 someone like Vistaprint will do them for. If you're set on your own design, you can upload your artwork, too.

Hmmm...didn't quite work, Alison (either that or it's not a very attractive business card)

Yeah, I know. I can't seem to even get an avatar picture to post. It keeps saying the file is too big but I don't know how to make it smaller. And as far as posting here, I only successfully did it once in the old place and I don't remember how I did it.

Alison, send me what you're trying to post. You have my email?
