I had planned on shipping a couple of repair projects to the factory, but the way things have been recently, I decided I needed a drive....BADLY!

So I went and had me a personal, little palaver with John and Kim.

Greetings were expressed.....

Countless snide remarks were batted about....

Details were discussed....

Two pairs of eyes occasionally rolled heavenward despite their owners best efforts to the contrary....

Lame threats of exhorbitant costs were utilized to telling effect.....

Materials were closely examined....

Many questions beginning with the phrase "What do you think about ______?" were directed squarely towards John's note pad....

Hands were shaken....

And then it was time to leave.

Thus, the long wait begins...................................................Stupid GAS.

For me, it would be swamp ash or earthen maple. Wood that's been buried in mud for many years. I know Al has a darn nice one, too.
