why is it that no one can understand that people do this stuff for attention and when you give it to them it feeds their ego.... or is it their id ? or superego? too long since psych class

| Al, I appreciate all the moderators do here. I used to moderate a board at Ivillage, and it isn't easy.
There is one non-guitar board that I mostly lurk at now. They have actually forbidden "farewell" types of posts. It all started because one person posted a farewell post that got ugly.
