I had this all written up on another post but it went a little far afield.

And BTW...Huber will have the traveling Gibson display / dog and pony show there all this weekend. Tommorrow, at a nice size local venue, Taylor is bringing in Doyle Dykes for a show. And some sort of Martin event is planned for the near future.
And here I thought that kind of thing only happened during the holiday sales season.
.
If Ovation ever had and event like this I'd lobby like hell to be able to work it. |

"Look here, this guitar not only sounds sweet but beating Bob Taylor unconscious with it does absolutely NO damage to the guitar.
....actually, it sounds just a bit sweeter to my ears." |

Seriously... I work in sales. I've worked trade shows. I think I could help and have a ball doing it.
And I promise I'll be good. |

I've seen Doyle Dykes and I've seen Matt Smith. No disrespect to my relative-in-law (lady stonebobbo's maiden name is Dykes), but Matt Smith is the MAN. Martin's local shows come through here (there's one at the GC in a couple of weeks), but again, their folk singers are no Matt Smith. |
