I've been contacted some days ago by a kind woman in France whom was looking for information about her Adamas 1687-7. Like always, I've done my best to be as accurate as possible and when I asked her for the serial her reply was #0125-83. You can imagine how I was excited when I read that serial and I asked for more pics. The pics were not very good but the guitar seems to be in good condition. With the help of Beal, I gave her a reply with all the infos that I've collected about the very early Adamas. After some emails, I was ready to write that she can call me in the future if she wants to sell it (without any hope...) but I haven't had enough time because she wrote me before that she will be glad to sell it to me... So I took my car yesterday to see that beauty and of course I was immediately in love with that Adamas. After some coffees and a hard negociation ;) , I've decided that I can't go back home without that instrument. I bought it and she's now at home... ;) Life is sometimes very sweet and I will remember that sunday as a great day (even if it was raining...) because it was so unexpected to find such a guitar here in France. That FANTASTIC Adamas was sleeping only 20 miles away from my house and it's just like she was waiting for me. Sorry if my post is a little bit too long but that instrument and that story deserves these words with bad English!! :D And because pics are better than words, please FOLLOW THAT LINK!! Thanks for reading me. J :) ![]()

How long did they continue including the Frequency Response after the S/N on the A's? I'll try to make better pics next week end under the natural light of the sun. I have to find a nice place to take those pics. I don't know if there's a rule for the Frenquency on the labels. I've seen Adamas I from the 80's without and Adamas II from the 90's with the frenquency... Maybe Beal could tell us?? J :)

She's played by my friend Pascal whom is the leader of the "French White Thumbpick Mafia"... :D :D :D I will change the string with D'Addario EXP-16 this week end and I'm ure that she will sounds much better with that set because extra light gauge is not the best for that kind of guitar!! I hope you will enjoy the sound even the poor quality of that video!! ADAMAS #0125-83 BY PASCAL J :)
