While it is nice guitar its not even close to what I had just seen. My expensive guitar is crap compared to Hamer. I wish I had seen Hamer before I bought the Strat. The the Stat was $2150 back in 1993. The gears gotta turn to move if from storage a spot behind Kim Desk. I can pick it up soon in New Hartford. till then http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLCJEYLIBQY

Its so responcsive it took about an hour just to get use to it. The tone just straight to tube amp is emotional expirence. I feel emotionally drained from getting to know this guitar. I was drooling on the tour the factory tour 2 years ago. I was like going to an auto show drooling over a Bentley. You really want one but never think your really going to get one. I at a lose for words as to how good this actually is. It the best electric guitar I ever played. I had Fender's Custom Shop build me a Set-Neck Stratocaster one-off back in 1995. Its not even in the same league. I paid more for that Strat than I just did on this Hamer. Hamer Newport Jazz Burst finish http://s219.photobucket.com/albums/cc285/pezcleo/?action=view&curre... He explains the use of a custom shim underneath the Bigsby on the archtops. Not sure if this does it, but I don't have any problem keeping it in tune, at least, not any more so than any other electric guitar I use. I tend to check tuning about every three or four songs as a matter of course, so it is never a problem. How does the Bigsby stay in tune?? Whats the difference between P-90s & ason Lollar P-90s?? The Jason Lollar P-90s look just like the custom Seymour Duncans that come stock on the Monoco III, but he custom makes these just for this application. They really bite and ring in the mid-range. I only know what I read, and the published review of the Monoco III (available on Hamer's website) suggested that the Lollar upgrade was noticeable and recommended, so I jumped at the chance. Al made it happen.
