Location: Phoenix AZ | Not a roundback, but here's some photos of a very cool guitar. A new 2008 model from Takamine called the TF430 Singer/Songwriter. NEX body size, non-cutaway, CoolTube-2 preamp, all solid top/back/sides. It plays and sounds great. NEX body size is about half way between an OM and a Dread. Lots more info about this one over on the Tak forum.

Location: Phoenix AZ | Yeah, saw it at NAMM but couldn't really tell how it sounded. But it seemed to have alll the right ingredients and felt just perfect in my hands. Al's price was too good to pass up, so I bought it on "faith". The end result exceeded my expectations.

Location: Phoenix AZ | I have no idea what the nutwidth is. Tak doesn't get hung up on measurements. Their theory is just pick it up and play it. If it feels good to you, you'll know it. Numbers should not cloud your judgeement. Out of curiousity I did put my digital caliper on it and took a measurement. The display just read "PERFECT".
