... … was awaiting my return from the Keys. What a GORGEOUS guitar! The binding is stunning and the Koa alive. Todd (toddf007) sent a like new beauty. As mentioned in the “06C vs ‘07C” thread, pictures can’t do it justice…

Although a tad mellow, the balance across the fretboard is wonderful. Haven’t plug her in yet…

They are pretty special. Even if they are not the blow-hole design.
I think Iffy's "mellow" description is accurate.

It doesn't have that signature Ovation "brightness".

If there's a Southern Jam this year, remind me to bring it.

After playing this beaut a bit more, I've gotta say it has a 1680ish tonal quality without the Adamas projection. Did that make sense...?

BTW, inlaid eppis are SOOOO classy! Kinda like inlaid rosettes... Plus the binding is awesome!!!
