Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | I'm redoing my rack for my guitar setup...I am going to get rid of several of my pedals and replace them with a TC Electronic's G-Major w/G-Minor midi switch box I just bought...I love the demo's for this on their site and youtube and am really looking forward to using it...anyone here have one? How do you like it? |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | G-Major arrived yesterday as sell as the Line6 POD Pro...put them in the rack and spent last night and most of the morning experimenting and learning...Electric sounds really nice...still needs tweeking...The Ovation (in this case the '82C) sounds fabulous! For the Acoustic I just have the POD set on tube preamp only...the G-Major rocks! The G-minor foot pedal arrived today and I need to get several midi cables (already ordered) to take advantage of it...
Here are a couple of pic's: sorry about the quality...really bright today in the front room...just a couple of notes: the Korg Tuner is great but the G-Major has a built in tuner that is always working/on...the bottom two pices in my rack are for the PA and will be moved to a smaller rack soon...or the guitar stuff will be moved to one...

This reminds me of back in the early/mid-60s, our local music store had a Fender rep demo some of their developmental 'future' features. I'll never forget his comment on the 'fuzz/distortion/etc.' or whatever they called it back then: "We worked soooo hard to 'clean up' our amplifiers, and now, we're putting the crap back in!"
My Dad hated the sound. Of course I'm thinking, "That's cool man!"
Mike, let us know when ya get sumpin' recorded! |
