Trader Jim, Kotadawg, you want to answer this for me? ;) :D 1115-1 Pacemaker? :p Ok Jack, the list if I decide to sell:
#1 T.J.
#2 Some Guy/Gal I haven't been contacted by yet.
#3 Me. I'm keeping it (The 1758)
#4 Hmmmmmmmmmmmm?
;) :D :p Bob, you have absolutely no sense of humor. Plus if you sell it to TJ, he'll just resell it in a few weeks. Look what happened to your 1719 30CM. It now has a home where it's appreciated. You need to skip the middleman with the 1758. And remember, Jim is a drummer. I thought I was being funny?? :p |

You were funny, Bob. I was just messing with you. But that doesn't change the fact that Jim is a drummer. :p |

Anyways, I forget TJ is a drummer.
Imagine if he was Trader Jim of DRUMS!?!?!??
Ouch!!! It hurts just thinking about it!
Back on subject:
The 1758 is a great 12 string, But, If you haven't allready realized,Ovation makes a lot of great 12 strings. You can't go wrong. Just depends on what you want to spend. :) |

Location: Reisterstown, Maryland | My favorite is the only Ovation 12 string I have-the Pacemaker 1115. Great sound unplugged and great sound plugged.

Location: Yalova/Turkey | Uff... I guess I´ll go for the 2058 TX 5 12 string because of some reasons: I´ll be able to try and play it as soon as I get to Germany, it is new, it has got a tuner (which I would prefer in a 12 string) and some people in here said the texture top produces a good sound. Also the deep contour bowl draws me, since my own big bowl is a bit adversary to the normal roundbacks... :) One drawback is I don´t like black too much. On the other hand 559 Euros is about as much as I can spend. I will have to save for this as well...
After having looked at the FAQs I had to admit I seem to have developed a hard case of GAS... Wake up in the morning and think I have to have an Ovation 12 string, last thought before going to sleep just the same... And SWMBO is almost convinced too that I simply can´t live without a 12 string... But boy is it hard to wait... |
