I saw the post for the picture contest and one of the Ovation ad a American flag on it, this is awsome but wath about the sound and wood doe's it change it or if it's done properly is it O.K..
with wath kind of paint should it be done and which clear?????
question question qestion :p

There's a body to one of those at the Mothership; it needs a neck. Find something that you don't care for body-wise but with a good neck, and send it in to mate with the flag body, and voila: you have one for $chump$change$.
PS - got the bag today, thanks! It goes out Saturday.
And you can paint guitars - most of the gloss black ones out there didn't get that way naturally. And auto paint works really well.

Location: Upper Left USA | Any shellac, lacquer, polyurethane or hard drying finish done over a well sealed surface will be just fine. Oils may prove interesting if they don't fully catalyze.
