Thanks for all the input! I think the original point has been lost a bit. I have a S771 Ovation with an OP 24+ and am using a Fender Acoustasonic Ultralight amp and stereo cab for an onstage amp. I am also using a 1778t with an OP Pro preamp and and have problems getting it up to the same volume that I get from the OP24+. Is this a problem with the output of the OP pro and if so, would I be better off to replace it with the OP Pro Studio. Just wondering if any has had this experience with the OP Pro being a bit weak on gain.
