Location: New South Wales, Australia | Great stuff Bob....I saw The Beatnix many times through the 80's and as far as cover bands go...they were as close as I'd ever get to the real thing.
There was a TV show here called The Money or the Gun and every week they would have someone do their version of it. I remember some time back on this board, someone posted a thread with a link to Rolf Harris playing the song on a wobble board on the same TV show.....There may even have been an album put out of all the versions.
BTW....The Beatnix are still touring around down here. |
