Never, unless it was a special order. And a Legend neck on a CL body. Either it was a total special order or somebody had a trashed Legend and saved the neck, having a whole new body put on it....

Not to mention that the seller's negative feedbacks are mostly for misrepresentation.

Almost 4000 transactions with a better than 99% positive rating is pretty damned good. I wouldn't worry about the seller. He's reading the label and cracking the code not knowing that the guitar's been changed.

Definitely makes me believe that somebody had a new body put on an old neck (with the old label transfered). This would be a good buy for somebody looking for an A braced acoustic only....

You should look at what the negatives are for. The negatives show a pattern of buyers who didn't get what they paid for. That's an indication of a character flaw, and not someone I'd buy from.

So about 25 people out of almost 4000 were unhappy and that bothers you?

Ok.....

This seller has a higher feedback rating than Al, so what's the problem? I'd trade my rating for his in a heartbeat.

Most of his nagatives are not really negative. "Returned item for full refund. Thanks". That's a character flaw?

That's 25 in the last 12 months. Most of which point to his either misrepresenting what he has, or not following through on condition claims.

Yes, that bothers me. That's a short period of time for a seller to have so many negative feedbacks for those type of problems.

It's a big red flag and it should cause any buyer to beware.

I dunno, 25 out of 3500 is still a damn good ratio. The guy sells 10 items a day to > 99% satisfied customers. If I liked the guitar (which I don't) I would not hestiate to bid. But that's just me, everyone draws their own conclusions.

This is also just my .02 as well, and I'm not claiming to be the final authority. I only mentioned it because the question was already raised by moody about the anomalies of the guitar. In my experience, the info about the item being sold is no truer than the reliability of the seller. It may be a good deal, maybe not. I hope no one gets screwed.

I live 5 minutes from his location... If anyone would like me to look at it. Although I wouldn't know what I was looking at.
