Last night at bluegrass, a new fellow came, packing a 60's Martin that was strung with steel cabling and running rough-shod over everyone else's leads.
He ended up sitting next to me, and happened to glance over to see what I was playing. "Oh, an Ovation...they make a nice little guitar..." I was playing my Tornado, and....putting it mildly, I was not amused. So, I carefully bided my time.
Having left my mandolin home, I borrowed his for one song, and he asked if I would mind if he tried the Tornado. "Of course not," said with the sweetest of inflections.
He started playing Jazzey, and his expression worked its way through curiosity through amazement through to solid respect. So much for, "nice little guitar." :D ;) :D

Good job Karen!
These guitars speak well enough for themselves if people would just pick them up.

Maybe you need to buy a breadwinner for the next time. It looks like good for wacking instrument.
Hum....
is that why it looks a battle ax???

Magnum 1 or 2 will leave a bigger "impression"

Nice to hear more good things about those. I've owned one since the beginning og the year, but still haven't seen it.

Sittin' in Phoenix. Guess I'd better book a ticket sometime soon.
