A Viper(II)I purchased came with a 4-ply pickguard(b/w/b/w).

Is this original?

Location: Tennessee		Mine is two ply (b/w). But mine is also late in the run and does not have "Viper" engraved in it.

As Bobbo said, the earlier were engraved the later ones not.

Most of mine are B/W/B/Wood/Lacquer...
