Location: Just outside Dallas, TX | OK... I managed to get the Battery pack removed (plastic Holder), 3 Screws from the Large Electronics case inside... there seems to be ONE more accessible through the cutout for the battery case... BUT only a very small 90Deg #1 Phillips looks like it would work... Any tips folks... My tuner is wigging out and it seems to be a loose ribbon cable into the electronics case... the issue being the connection is at the lower bout end of the casing... meaning can't see only feel what seems to be a modular connection with nothing in it... the interesting thing is - the ribbon cable seems to be plugged in somewhere... All I need looks to be this last screw removed to get access to everything,,,
Ovation GuRus... Help Please (yes replaced Battery several times with BRAND new ones and performed calibration etc) |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I think the tuner is searching for the note. I had problems with my Optima turning on by itself. I never found the Gremlin and sold the guitar with the Optima. In addition to that electronic bug, I didn't like the small print on the tuner. Otherwise, the Optima was a great preamp. |

Location: Just outside Dallas, TX | It's out of the guitar and I simply have been testing it... For about 3 months I have had to use a handheld tuner as it was claiming an A was a C etc after 20 seconds of running through all the lights...
Now it's sitting on my desk (all parts plugged in) I insert Battery and the lights go nuts and netver stop |
