Slow down, mark, pitch adjust, and loop tracks for learning. Anybody tried it? Or got a better suggestion. For Mac.

Thanks!

Doesn't seem to do anything regular DAW software wouldn't do. Maybe easier, since that's ALL it does.

A DAW would require at least 2 plug-ins to do it; this works in a more elegant way:

Serious practice tool!

My point was that my DAW (LOGIC PRO) can already pitch shift, tempo shift, mark and loop. So I don't have a need for this. But if you do not have a DAW then certainly this is a much cheaper solution.

Amazing Slow Downer appears to do a similar job. It is available in Mac, PC and iPhone (the latter is really handy if you don't want to be tied to your computer or get tangled in headphone cables).

Actually a trippple post, Richard. mmm's link beat you to it.

+1 on the Amazing Slow Downer from me too. One of the only shareware programs I've bothered to pay for. Worth every penny.

I've got at least 4 DAWs tucked away in my software folder, but the learning curve has put me off before I even started. I bought Mishka's MOTU ages ago and I haven't even plugged it in yet. ASD has virtually no learning curve, so at least that part of my musical software experience is up and running
