The seller sent me some pics, and it appears that the guitar has what seems to be a superficial crack. Here the pic of the crack : http://ovationfanclub.ning.com/photo/97c-crack?context=user What your opinion about that issue ? (Hoping that you can look at the pic...)

Finish cracks can be repaired fairly easily, although it's almost impossible to hide one completely on a natural finish guitar. Detailed instructions for doing so are in the FAQ , the 11th Q/A.

I should have to give the guitar to a professional, or leave it as it, so not so cheap... If the seller doesn't want to negociate a better price, I'll let the guitar go. Again, thanks a lot guys !

If I had known someone was looking for one I would have really looked at it Hard. The lighting in the store is not great and I didnt play it long. I think Trader Jim and a few others have been to that store. I am usually up that way once a month and usually stop in and take a look around. Might be some other members closer than me that could give you a better review if your interested. I think the hang tag said 699 but not sure and I didnt ask since I wasnt interested in buying. Good look James

I would suggest going to a hobby shop and getting a thinner Superglue and a thicker one. Carefully filling the crack with the thinner glue, letting it seep in. Do it in layers, Letting each harden. Once close to level, use the thicker glue to create a higher ridge of glue over the length of the crack. Again, let harden. Then tape off and wet sand level, (I used 1200 grit for my final wet sanding). Then polish and buff with McGuire's X. When you are done the crack, do the whole top just to even out the gloss. You should be pleasantly surprised when you are done. It may not hide the crack, but it will stop it from growing.
