New to the forum! My son inherrated 3 guitars from his Grandpa when he passed away several years ago. One is a vintage classical (no pickup) Ovation model #1116. My research indicates it was made in 1974 and appears to be a bit rare (meaning probably not in big demand). However, for someone who desires a near mint condition classical guitar including the original hard case, it's a diamond in the rough. Again, my research shows the value to be around $400. What is the best way of locating someone who can give this beauty a good home?

First of all, welcome to the Ovation Worldwide Family!

Go to the 'For Sale' forum and post some pics, an honest description and an asking price. I'm sure you'll get some interest.

That's one of the older 'O' models I haven't had a chance to play yet.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll take some pics tomorrow and post. forgive me as a newbe, but where are the instructions for posting pictures?

It's really a beautiful guitar, had the local guitar store look it over and they were very impressed. As I said, it's a great find for the right person, just not my 19 year old son. He prefers the Martin and Fender. What was that line about something being wasted on the young....
